Putting activated charcoal on a snakebite can save a life. It pulls poison out of the wound immediately, giving more time to get the victim to medical treatment. We put oatmeal in this bar to act as an exfolient, and for its soothing qualities. Not for you to eat it. When we make soap, there are always left over pieces that are a little too small to sell. We used to keep them for ourselves, but now we make so much soap that we have decided to package them up and share them with the world. Each pack contains 3 soap end pieces that usually weigh around 2 oz. (Our normal bar is 4oz for comparison.) We scratch the name of the soap onto it, so when you get a scent that you love, you'll know what we call it.

Grown on our own property, these concord and muscadine grapes were fresh off the vine and the passion fruit was freshly harvested from a vine near our property. A hint of rosemary, because it has to have an herb, makes for a little twist on yummy. You will be glad you tried it.

Everything you would expect and want from a green-bean casserole with some chef touches to it. Fresh green beans are used instead of canned, so it will have a little bit more backbone to the green beans when you bite into some. I make my own cream of mushroom soup and to finish the topping I had parmigiana reggiano cheese. It will come with the french's fried onions on the side. This is a vegetarian dish. Ingredients: Green beans, mushrooms, cream, vegetable stock, onions, celery, garlic, thyme, white wine, roux (butter and flour), parmigiana reggiano cheese, french's fried onions, salt and black pepper Reheating instructions: Leave casserole out at room temperature for 30minutes. Preheat even to 375. Place in over for 10-15minutes. Take out, if it is fully hot in the middle add fried onions and cook for 2 more minutes. Watch the onions closely they like to burn.

Like a tiny petunia on steroids, Calibrachoa (also called million bells) grows and flowers at an amazing rate. Often confused for a petunia, million bells makes a splash in containers or hanging baskets. Be sure to give it ample water and fertilizer, which it needs to fuel its astounding growth. Calibrachoa like sun, but in the South, there can be too much of a good thing. On the South or West side of a building, a few hours of intense summer sun will be quite enough for these little guys. On my south-facing porch, where they received direct sun for only a short time, Calibrachoa were very happy last summer.

With its attractive, scalloped foliage that's green with white margins, Plectranthus coleoides 'Variegata' makes a worthy hanging basket, cascadinng fountain-like in part to full sun. Also may be used in patio containers, or as a component plant in combination planters. This native of northern Australia and the Pacific Islands is deer resistant, and may be pinched or trimmed as needed to maintain shape and size. The easy care of Swedish ivy houseplants make them great for even the most novice of gardeners. Swedish ivy does best in a light and loamy potting mix with some perlite mixed in to help with drainage. The plant will thrive in a location that receives bright, indirect light all year long. * room temperature between 60 and 75 * water once a week, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Do not let it sit in water. * feed once every two weeks during the spring and summer and once a month during the fall and winter. Use a complete liquid houseplant fertilizer and follow the directions. * pinch off vine tips after flowering to keep the plant from becoming too leggy. * repot every two or three years. Not hardy in Tennessee USDA zone 7B.

Lemon Balm has been used to reduce stress and anxiety, and. to treat indigestion and nausea. Feverfew has been used for the prevention and treatment of migraine headaches. fever, irregular menstrual periods, arthritis, allergies, asthma, ringing in the ears (tinnitus), dizziness, nausea and vomiting. Lavender has been used to treat anxiety, insomnia, nausea, and skin irritations. Steep for 10-20 minutes depending on desired strength. Make a pint or quart of tea and drink 1/4 cup every 30 minutes until headache is gone, up to 4 cups daily. Drink hot, at room temperature, or iced. Avoid boiling the water while the herbs are present. Consider using a French press or easy to clean loose tea device (like those we offer in brewing accessories).
