Penstemons come from areas with rough growing conditions and should never be exposed to wet or damp earth. A thin, rocky soil in full sun is best. Penstemon species are often used in xeriscape landscaping, as many are native to desert or alpine regions and thus quite hardy. Native Americans long used Penstemon roots to relieve toothache. Foliage is evergreen in warmer climates. Tubular flowers are in clusters atop strong stems, somewhat like foxglove, and blooming from spring into summer. Plants are best set out in groups so that a mass of flowers is in view. Cut back each stem after flowering to a place just above a set of leaves that show new growth. You may get another flowering later in the summer or early fall. Wait until all chance of a freeze is over, then cut back your penstemon, leaving stems that are just 6 inches long. This way, the plant will bush out and have a more compact form.

Classic lasagna with ground beef. 3 layers of robust roasted garlic red sauce, and smothered with mozzarella, parmesan, and ricotta cheeses. Infused with Italian herbs such as basil, rosemary, oregano, and parsley. This will easily feed a family of 4. Depends how you cut it but you can get 9-12 severing out of this. The pan I use for these are 9in by 11in. The final weight is between 7lbs and 7 1/2 lbs *These will need to be cooked to finish on your end* Times may vary from oven to oven but this is how I do it. Have Lasagna sit at room temperature for an hour. Preheat Oven to 375 degrees. Cover the lasanga pan with aluminum foil. Bake for 30mins. After the 30mins, remove aluminum foil and bake for another 30mins. Finally if the top is not golden brown and delicious, use the broil option on your oven and keep a close eye on it until its finished.

Classic lasagna with beef. 3 layers of robust roasted garlic red sauce, and smothered with mozzarella, parmesan, and ricotta cheeses. Infused with Italian herbs such as basil, rosemary, oregano, and parsley. These are in a 9in by 6in by 2in deep pan. Can feed one very hungry person or would be perfect for two people with a side salad or soup. The pasta noodles and beef are all fully cooked, will require additional baking at home! Instructions: Leave lasagna out at room temperature for 1 hour. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Bake for 45mins, or until internal temperature is 165 degrees F. Everyones oven is a little different it may take up to an hour in some ovens. DO NOT MICROWAVE IN ITS CONTAINER! Ingredients: Sauce (San Marzano canned tomatoes, garlic, basil, salt and pepper), Lasagna Noodle (Durum wheat semolina, niacin, iron ( ferrous sulfate)), Thiamin Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic acid, Ground Beef, Mozzarella Cheese, Ricotta Cheese, Parmesan, Parsley, Oregano, Rosemary, and Salt and Pepper.
