Chamomile, Nettle, and Goji Berries. • Gentle herbs to help you survive the cold and flu season. Have sniffles, stuffiness, or a general "blah" feeling? Chamomile promotes sleep and boosts immunity. It has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antispasmodic properties, and may protect against diarrhea, stomach ulcers, nausea and gas. It has also been used to reduce muscle spasms and stomach ache. Nettle helps detoxify the body, promotes cardiovascular health, and alleviates allergic reactions. Nettle is used for joint ailments, as a diuretic, and as an astringent. It has also been used to treat frequent or painful urination. Goji Berries are an adaptogen, contain antioxidants, and are a great source of nutrition. They contain large amounts of vitamins A and C, B2, selenium, potassium, and iron, and have been used to treat fever. Steep 1 tbsp in 1 1/2 cups hot water for 10-15 minutes. Add honey or other sweetener to taste.

Well balanced flavors of smoky, savory, fatty, sweet and sour, with a tad bit of spicy, are stewed with your greens in chicken stock for at least 2 hours before being finished. Ingredients: Collard greens, garlic, onions, bacon , butter, chicken stock, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, tabasco, brown sugar, salt and pepper. Reheating instructions: Place collard greens onto microwave safe dish and cook for 45secs or until hot. or place onto a small pot or sauté pan over medium to high heat for 3 minutes or until hot.
