Welcome to the last week of July. Here is the news for this week.
A new farmer has joined the Market. JourneyWorks Community Garden comes to us with fresh produce. You can learn more about them at their Growers page
Meet Your Producer – This Wednesday, Aaron with The Blue Porch will be at pick up demonstrating and sampling many of their products. Come by and see what they have to offer. He has also added a new item – wild rice edamame salad.
I am working with Lorraine with Casa Segovia-Paz to keep empanadas in stock. This week we have beef, veggie and peach.
Frontier Family Farm introduces romaine hearts this summer.
Rocky Glade Farm brings back pink eye purple hull peas to the Market.
Both Wedge Oak and West Wind Farms have plenty of products perfect for grilling this summer including pork ribs.
