Black Bean Dip - Gluten Free - Vegan
This is an easy, quick recipe to make Black Bean Dip that's good for you and doesn't take long to make.
Ingredients
- 3/4 Cup Black Bean Flour
- 2-1/2 Cup Water
- 1/2 Tsp Chili Powder
- 1/4 Tsp Cumin
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1/2 Each Lime - Juiced
- 2 Tbsp Sour Cream (for those not Vegan)
- 1/2 Cup Salsa
Instructions
- 1Boil water in a sauce pan on medium heat. Mix all of the dry ingredients and whisk into the water. Stir 1 minute over medium heat and then reduce to medium-low, cover and cook for 5-7 more minutes stirring occasionally. The mixture should thicken. If not, heat a little longer but make sure the bottom doesn't stick to the pan. Cool, add salsa, sour cream and lime juice. Makes about 4 cups.
