Market is OPEN -- See you Wednesday Walk-up or Curb


Welcome to the October 11th and 12th Stones River Locally Grown Online Farmers Market. The Market opens 8:00 am on Sunday Morning and closes 10:00 pm Monday evening. Order early before quantities available run out! https://stonesriver.locallygrown.net
Be sure to check again over the next 2 days as some of our Growers may be updating their inventories.

We will continue to have our “Pull Up or "Step Up” delivery on the curb in front of Quinn’s Mercantile to pickup your orders Wednesday afternoon October 14th from 5-6:30 pm….Drive up to the canopy or you are welcome to park across the street and walk to the canopy to pickup your order using social distancing. We want to leave the area in front of Quinn’s Mercantile for their customers.

Reminder…Delivery Service is available within a 10 mile radius of Murfreessboro, outside areas will be considered and delivery is available to Woodbury at a host location. Please put your address in comments before you check out….Method of Payment is Cash, Checks, Cards or Invoice. For Delivering and Invoicing please make sure your account information is current.

We now have Reusable Market Totes available, 10 × 12 with a 8 inch gusset, not too small and not too big and reusable. This is a joint venture between Quinn’s Mercantile and our Stones River Market.

WELCOME TO THE MARKET….
Body and Soul Teas, (located in Coffee and Tea Category) We make small batch herbal tea blends for sipping and soaking. Our herbs are organically grown, purchased and naturally grown herbs or herbs which I have wildcrafted here in Middle TN.
Current tea line includes:
Rocky Top Rooibos: South African Red Rooibos combines with mint in this take on Southern iced tea, our customer favorite
Tennessee Sunshine: a tart fruity Hibiscus blend
Shoo-Flu: a supportive blend containing elderberry for cold/flu season support
Ah-Shoo: a supportive blend containing goldenrod, elder, and peppermint for seasonal allergy support.

Rainbow Hill Farm:
Delicious Apples this week…….
Rome: Dark red. Mild flavor, somewhat sweet. Good for both cooking and eating fresh.
Jonathan: Slightly tart red apple with exceptionally good flavor. Excellent cooking apple.
Winesap: Hard green apple. Very tart.
Mutsu: large green to yellow apple similar to yellow delicious, also a very good cooking apple.
Red Delicious: has a sweet but very mild flavor. The flesh is juicy and has a light crispness. Quite a refreshing apple to eat.
Yellow Delicious: Very sweet to the taste. It is a favorite for salads, apple sauce, and apple butter.

Farrar Farms LLC:
Our GROUND BEEF SPECIAL continues, purchase 5 pounds of Ground Beef and get 1 pound free. Get out those Grills or Chili Pots ready and enjoy our cuts of Pasture Raised Beef making some delicious Stews, Chili, Mexican Dishes, this list is numerous.

Valentine Family Farm:
Our Valentine Family Farm’s Smoke House Salsa has a delicious smoke flavor because of it’s fire roasted vegetables. Serve it with chips or use it as an ingredient to add some smokiness to your next batch of chili.

Belle Fleur Organics:
Arugula, Crunchy King Radishes, Cayenne Peppers, Jalapenos, Ping Tung Long Eggplant, Tusli Basil and Wildfire Lettuce Mix.

Wedge Oak Farm: Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming soon! Time to think about a turkey? Wedge Oak Farm’s pasture raised turkeys are grown here in Lebanon, Tennessee. They peck and stroll in the rolling hills and cedar glades of Wilson County. Never fed antibiotics, growth stimulants or animal by-products. They are moist and delicious.

Mama D’s Bakery:
This week we have added banana breads and pumpkin breads with the option of nuts or not. They make great breakfasts or snacks, and if you are feeling really gourmet they make great French toast! We continue to have everything else available this week too! We have our carmel apple cinnamon rolls, gingerbread cake roll, pumpkin cake roll, spicy ginger cookies, bagels, donuts, cheese Danishes, pies, cookies, granola and protein bars, cinnamon rolls, breads, and fruit scones this week as well. Thanks so much for your business!

Quarter Spring Farm:
Fall is the beginning of “drying” season for your skin. Make sure to give it plenty of love by moisturizing it every day with our ultra-moisturizing Goats Milk Soap. Our soaps moisturize so well, there really isn’t a need for lotion after you shower or shave (yes, we have shave bars too!) … but if you must add lotion, we also have you covered. As always, our products are all- natural and handmade here on our farm in beautiful Liberty, TN.

Oakview Farm:
We have fresh greens this week! Tangy mustard greens and kale greens are great for stir fries and even soup. This week, we made a chicken and mustard green soup with our fresh free-range chicken and it was delicious! You will find some of our chicken in the Market this week. You will also enjoy our Delicious Rosemary Pear Jam on sandwich with some spicy mustard, provolone cheese and kale. We have a variety of herbs available such as oregano and chives, sorrel, purple and Genovese basil, rosemary and fennel fronds available this week.

Flying S Farms:
Kale, Turnips Greens, Kohlrabi, Tomatoes, Green Beans, Sweet Peppers – green and red, Winter Squash: Acorn, Butternut, Carnival and Delicata. Pumpkin – Long Island Cheese. Sour Dough Breads and we are Jammin’ again this week so be sure to check back….several favorites are back in in stock…Seriously HOT Strawberry and Habanero Peach and Strawberry. New Apple Cardamon Jam and Old Fashion Pear Preserves. Dental procedure is completed and in recovery! Watch for ‘the return of Sweets Things’ next week October 18th.

Carole’s Herbs (CS3 Farm):
We are still in ‘transition’ We expect to be in our new house by the end of October and should be able to offer lettuce, spinach and micro greens soon. Thank you for your patience and understanding during our transition.

Look forward seeing you “At the Curb" of Quinn’s Mercantile Wednesday October 14th from 5:00 – 6:30 pm, please contact me if you are unable to make delivery or are running late, please phone, email or text me so we can make arrangements to get your order to you. if we don’t hear from you, your order will be donated and you will be invoiced for the amount since we still need to pay our Growers for their products. Remember we do have Delivery if you think you will be later than 6:30 pm.
