THE STONES RIVER LOCALLY GROWN WEEKLY MARKET IS OPEN!

Market opens February 19th Sunday 8:00 AM and Closes Monday February 20th at 10 PM

The Market will always open SUNDAY at 8 AM with or without Weblog. Weblog may occasional be delayed.

Begin your new year supporting local farmers, bakers and craftsmen. We are
looking forward to a brand new season.

We have a NEW Grower that has joined the Market

Billie Rose Bread & Butter offering a variety of delicious made-from-scratch items to the local community. A unique mix of items will be curated, with a strong focus on baked goods and delicious fruit butters and jams. From southern staples like cornbread and biscuits, to New York style bagels, to special diet accommodations like vegan breads and wheat-free dog treats, Billie Rose hopes to become a new craving!


Welcome back Periwinkle and Pine Co. she is back with her beautiful wreaths.

Growers News:

NashPhilly: Have added a new item Soup, Broccoli and Cheese! This seems to be a popular soup in Tennessee, and after making it I can see why. It’s wholesome, filling and warms your soul after having a bowl. If you have sour dough bread on hand I highly recommend dunking it in your soup. Ingredients: Broccoli, onions, carrots, butter, flour, vegetable stock, heavy cream, cheddar cheese, thyme, garlic, bay leaf, black pepper, parsley, nutmeg and Himalayan sea salt. this is vegetarian, but it is not gluten free, other items still available. Minestrone Soup, New England Clam Chowder as well as Gnocchi with Roasted Garlic Marinara Sauce! Several other delicious prepared meal items in ‘Noodles, Pasta and Italian Sauces’ available this week: Beef and Cheese Lasagna Family Portion and Single Portion, Cajun Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and Chicken Marsala and in ‘Seasonal Side Dishes’ Brussel Sprouts with Carmelized Onions and Bacon, Mashed Potatoes with sour cream and green onions. Watch for some new items coming soon!

Oakview Farm: Time to stock up on our baked items..we have our delicious Artisan Sourdough Bread on the market this week, along with Sourdough Pretzels. We also put our Orange Chocolate Patties on the market this week; similar to a peppermint patty with a beautiful orange flavor! Check out our other offerings, too: white and purple top turnips (with the delicious greens!), orange and peppermint patty candies, peanut butter chocolate candy cups, Apple Fig Jam, and our newest addition Cranberry Orange Marmalade!

Picky’s Micros: Micro Greens and Sprouts….This week’s delicious offerings: Seasonal Chef’s Blend; this is our specialty customized microgreen blend! Every season we’ll be creating new blends represent each season. Our Winter Blend has Romaine, Celery, Kale Confetti and Red Bull Beets. Along with Pea, Radish, Cinnamon Basil, Broccoli, Basic salad Mix and Sunflower.

Shroomegy Gourmet Mushrooms: Rocky Top and King Blue Oyster’s return this week. We also have a beautiful crop of Lion’s Mane. New this week are two homemade spice blends(Creole and Lemon pepper) as well as a variety of mushrooms and powders. Check out our website for recipes and let us know any question you have through our growers profile!

Thweatt Things: Reading pillows with a pocket in front for a favorite book, Kindle or iPad. There’s even room for some candy too! Sorry, books are not included. Those stay in my library!

RC Farm: Enjoy our large selection of produce grown in our greenhouse and/or hydroponically. We have added several other items to our inventory. Fried pies, cakes, pies and breads.

Rus-T-Acres: Our Chickens have finally started laying again! This winter has been ruff on our feather ‘friends’. Be sure to checkout our several delicious selections of Beef and Pork.

Flying S Farms: Chicken Eggs, they are picking up their production! We can now offer dozen or a bundle of 3 dozen!. Friendship and Sour Dough Breads and Delicious Biscuits are back in stock. Our Pumpkin Butter, Apple Butter and Fig Jam from local Turkey Fig Tree are great anytime of the year. Apple Jamely (almost a jelly but thick like a jam) HOT Jams – Seriously Hot Strawberry and Habanero Peach are a hit. Warm some up and put over cream cheese and serve with crackers – yummy.


DELIVERY SERVICE AVAILABLE:
We offer after market Delivery Service for $12 within a 10 mile radius of Murfreesboro, outside areas additional $1.00 per mile is added. If this is the first time you’ve requested delivery please put your address in the comments before you check out and any special instructions.

There is an additional $5.00 fee added if Delivery is requested AFTER MARKET HAS CLOSED ON MONDAY EVENING. This fee is so we can make arrangements with our Delivery Staff to prepare your order to be delivery.

The Market methods of Payment is Cash, Checks or Credit/Debit Cards or Invoice (a $2.00 fee is added for invoicing). Reminder, please make sure your email and address is current. Thank you for supporting your Locally Grown Market, it means a lot to our Growers and Community by Shopping Local and Staying Local!

We will always try and reach you as a reminder about your order, we can make arrangements for you to get your order to you. If we do not hear from you, your order will be donated and you will be invoiced for the amount of your order. We still need to pay our Growers for their products. Remember we do have Delivery Service. If you think you will be later than 6:00 pm, when our Delivery Staff begins delivering orders, please contact us, so we can make arrangements with you.
