Market is OPEN -- See you Wednesday


Welcome to the Stones River Online Farmers Market. We are OPEN – Sunday 8AM, March 13th and Monday March 14th until 10PM.

We look forward to seeing you on the Porch this Wednesday, March 16th from 5-6:15, with deliveries following. Know that our growers have the hour prior to get their products organized so things might be a bit hectic (and crowded) if you come early.

If you CAN NOT pick up by 6:15pm, please let us know, we can make your orders available with Quinn’s Mercantile so you can stop by and pick them up. If we are NOT notified, your order will be donated and you will be invoiced for the amount of your order. We still need to pay our Growers for their products.

Delivery Service is available for $10 within a 10 mile radius of Murfreesboro, outside areas additional $1.00 per mile is added. Delivery is also available to Woodbury at a host location. If this is the first time you’ve requested delivery please put your address in the comments before you check out and any special instructions. An Invoice will be emailed to you that includes a $1.00 Invoice fee after your order is Delivered. Again, please make sure your email and address is current. $5.00 late Delivery Request after Market has closed on Monday Evening.

Quarter Spring Farm: Quarter Spring Farm has all the delicious pasture raised chicken you need to kick those late winter blues. Our laying hens have gotten back to work for a change, so we have beautiful blue and brown chicken eggs on the market this week, too. And we have our usual selection of skin soothing soaps and luxurious lotions.

Mama D’s Bakery: Hi everyone! We have everything available this week!

Bagels (plain, cinnamon-raisin, blueberry, and everything),
Gluten free/Vegan Bagels, 3 kinds: Cinnamon, Plain, and Everything,
Hummingbird Cake (with a gluten/dairy free option too),
Chocolate Cake Roll, Chocolate Swiss Roll,
Oatmeal Cookies, Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies, Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter plain or with Chocolate Chips, Sand Cookies

Bean Man: We continue to receive great feedback on our Sourdough Bread Mixes. One question has been if yeast can be used – the answer is yes. Simply reserve 1/2 cup water from the water used for the dough mix and combine it with 1 tsp sugar and 1 packet dry active yeast and let sit while you combine the remaining cup of water with the other wet ingredients called for in the recipe – then combine together, mix well and add all to the dry ingredients – nothing else changes. The loaf is still vegan and vegetarian but you will get more rise – the last loaf we made in a 5 × 9 loaf pan ended up measuring at 3-1/2" high x 4-1/2" wide and 9" long. Our oven bakes a little hotter so we set the temperature at 430F.

Don’t forget our Fresh Dry Beans and Mixes as well as our Scottish Oatmeal, Gluten Free Flours and easy Ready to Mix Bean Dip, Refried Beans and Pancakes. Fresh Pizza is always a great option and we have 4 versions for you depending on your taste. We are finishing testing on a couple of delicious soup mixes – as with our other Ready to Mix offerings, we supply the dry ingredients and you provide the wet ingredients.

Bluhen Farm: We are back on the market, these cold snaps set us back some but we are slowly beginning to ‘grow’ again.

Sow’s Ear Piggery: We have great cuts of pork available this week for any meal or special occasion.

Flying S Farms: Slowing returning with some of our baked products, this week we’ve add our popular Buttermilk Biscuits and our Sour Cream Biscuits. What’s the difference you ask…the Buttermilk is a traditional ‘like granny use to make’ and Sour Cream is just a lighter texture biscuits. Both are equally delicious with our jams. We’ve added Blueberry Jam this week. Watch for more being added soon along with our Sour Dough Breads!
