MARKET NEWS: It saddens us and we are needing your assistance, we need to relocate our Market location due to Quinn’s is closing her business. We have this week and next before we have to relocate. We will be checking out location around our current location with hopes we can keep the Market close as we can to our current one. Please contact me if you have any suggestion for us to consider.

Growers News:

Calico Farm:
The forecast is definitely wintry (which, personally, we love) so it’s time to stock the pantry with cozy foods & ingredients that warm you from the inside out.
If you’re looking for a delicious & healthy soup or stew base, try our organic tomato juice. Available in 1 Qt jars, canned & ready for ya anytime! Perfect for adding depth, flavor & tenderness if braising a roast, too.
We have 4 house-blended loose teas that are ready for sipping to take off the chill. The immune support tea is always popular during winter when we’re all doing our best to stay healthy. It’s jam packed with herbs that truly pack a punch of wellness.
Also be sure to grab a bottle of our organic elderberry syrup – the ultimate immune system supporter! A simple, delicious add to your daily routine.
If teas aren’t you’re thing, but coffee is, try our chocolate syrup. It’s decadent, contains only a few clean ingredients & can turn your coffee into a delicious treat. Of course, if you’re an espresso lover, by all means, a cafe mocha is never a bad idea.

NashPhilly:
New Pasta Dish. Lobster Ravioli with Brandy Cream Sauce. Roasted lobster and ricotta cheese ravioli. The Brandy cream sauce consists of mushrooms, red bell peppers, tomato, garlic and onions. Each order comes with 12 large raviolis, and two cups of the Brandy cream sauce. Will definitely satisfy your ravioli needs this year.

Have you tried Beef Burgundy? Are you a fan of beef stew? Beef burgundy is a French style beef stew that uses red wine to cook the stew with. We also had some carrots and parsnips to the stew. A great French country dish with lots of flavor and warmth.

Quarter Spring Farm:
We are hip deep in kidding and lambing season here at Quarter Spring Farm. It’s a super cute, but super busy time of year. Lucky for us we stocked up our freezers with delicious pasture raised chicken, grass fed lamb and goat in advance. We have plenty of everything for the moment, and would love for you and your family to enjoy it this winter. Speaking of winter, the cold air usually means dry, chapped skin for lots of folks. Our superb goat milk soaps, shampoos, and lotions can help relieve the rigors of the cold weather. They will leave your skin feeling soft and smelling great. Give them a try if you haven’t already. Your skin will appreciate it.

Safe and Sound Soap Co.:
As we step into the new year, it’s the perfect time to start swapping out everyday products for healthier, non-toxic alternatives, and Safe and Sound Soap Co. is here to help make that transition easier. Many laundry soaps marketed as “all-natural” in stores can contain over 40 ingredients, many of which are harsh or unnecessary. Our laundry soap, on the other hand, is made in small batches with just six simple ingredients, making it gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin or those with allergies. But that’s not all—our collection of non-toxic products extends beyond laundry soap, with cleaning sprays, sugar scrubs, detoxifying bath bombs, and car air fresheners, all crafted with your health in mind. Start the year off right by choosing Safe and Sound Soap Co. for a cleaner, safer home and body.

Wild flour:
“Happy to be back after the holiday season and looking forward to sharing my sourdough with you all again! In addition to my classic and gluten free loaves, I’ve added roasted garlic as a flavor- my recent best seller! If there’s a flavor you’d like to see, please feel free to reach out!”

RC Farm:
Great selection of Soups, Apples along with Apple Fried Pies and Apple Butter and we have several frozen meals as well as Breads, Produce.

Arrington Bread Co:
Proud to serve fresh artisan sourdough loaves and sourdough bagels, made from scratch using our 88-year-old starter which we named “Josh Dough-ban”—like the great singer Josh Groban, we raise him uuuuuup!

Linwood Lamb:
We have Cheviot, Dorset, and Hampshire Raw Wool Fleeces available – We have been raising sheep for 5 generations on Linwood Farm in Watertown TN. We shear our sheep once per year in the spring using the Australian Long Blow Method. Fleeces will weigh 4 to 10 pounds depending on the breed. All of the fleeces were exhibited at the 2022 Tennessee State Fair Wool Show.

Let me know in comments what breed of sheep you would like the fleece to come from. Please don’t hesitate to call me or email me 615-519-7796 shepherdboy1@yahoo.com if you have any questions about our fleece.
