We have bagels, breads, granola bars, protein bars, cinnamon rolls, cookies, Danishes, donuts, friut scones, mini fruit scones, and soft pretzels. Carole’s Herbs (CS3 Farm): Check out our herbal honeys, mustards, and garlic, as well as ginger fig and watermelon shrubs – refreshing drinks to beat the heat! Stock up this week we be taking a break next week.

The July heat is hard on plants. Be sure to water them enough to maintain their structure and not become weak and limp. Remember: more sun, more water. Also just about every plant prefers a gentle soaking to a dumped bucket. Keep them happy and they will reward you with lots of blooms and/or fruit.

Dogwood Valley Greenhouse: We have some late season bloomers beginning to show their stuff. While the coneflowers and pincushions continue to bloom all summer, they are joined by the beautiful late double orange daylilies. The gorgeous blue plumbago, or leadwort, are also just beginning to bloom now.

The ferns have been restocked, and we have a good supply of 11 varieties. Varying in height, foliage color, and texture, they will add a lot of interest to the shady areas of the garden.

We have also restocked a good selection of Fresh-Cut herbs, with 7 varieties currently available for your cooking pleasure.

Does your garden need a shrub for variety? We have some beautiful large Pieris (Andromeda) which would be a beautiful specimen plant in a shady area. They are carefree and even deer resistent! From the early spring red foliage to the lovely white flowers, what’s not to love about Pieris?

Mo’ Scrubs by Toya: Enjoy the summer bite free and burn free with new products from Mo’ Scrubs! All natural mosquito repellent spray and balm now available! Also, if you purchased the 8oz spray bottle last summer, you can purchase a refill bag for $9! All natural SPF 30 water resistant sunscreen is also now available.

Flying S Farms: CORN and OKRA, green beans, eggplant, several types of summer squash, zucchini regular size and HUGH size, the ones that were hiding in the garden! Tomatoes and Cherry tomatoes. Sourdough Bread loaves are back and Brownies, Blueberry Zucchini Bars and Orange Blueberry Bars. Friendship Breads will be back on the market in few weeks (They consumer a lot of my time and with the garden exploding with great vegetables, I’ll work them in when I can.)
