News From Our Growers:

Carole’s Herbs (CS3 Farm): We have two types of Watermelon Shrubs. Try either Watermelon Tulsi or Watermelon Spearmint.

We also have more Green and Curly Green Lead Lettuce; Dinosaur and Red Russian Kale; Radishes, Borage, and Holy Basil.

Mama D’s Bakery: Hi everyone! This week we have added pies! We have chocolate fudge, pecan, maple pecan, and chocolate chip pecan. :) We also have our cream cheese Danishes, donuts, breads, bars, bagels, cinnamon rolls, cookies, and soft pretzels available! :)

Quarter Spring Farm: We have a full selection of chicken cuts this week. We have been processing all week and our freezers are full of delicious fresh birds. Let us fill your freezers this week with our all natural, pasture raised chickens.

Don’t forget about Fido, we have all natural dog treats and specially formulated dog soap, too.

Sow’s Ear Piggery: We have added new pork products for summer grilling or smoking: “T-bone” pork chops, Bratwursts, and Boston Butt shoulder. Our ground pork is also excellent for burgers on the grill, or is delicious in tacos and Asian stir-fry recipes.

We also have cutlets, stew meat, and shoulder steaks available. As always, our pork is from free-range heritage breed pigs raised on a non-GMO, non-corn, non-soy diet.

RnR Farms: We have several new offerings this week: Chicken eggs and a very limited supply of Quail Eggs, so if you’ve ever wanted to try these, here is your chance.

We also have Mardi Gras beans, which are tri-colored bush beans. And also cherry tomatoes which will go nicely with our lettuce and salad mixes. Enjoy!

Flying S Farms: Plenty of produce this week but only Artisan Breads and Jams from our kitchen. We have Green and Red Tomato, Yellow Crookneck and Straight neck Summer Squash, Zucchini, Eggplant – round and long varieties, Cabbage, Onions, newly harvested Garlic, Red Pontiac Potatoes, All Blue Potatoes.

For the next couple weeks we will only have Artisan Breads available. I’m taking a much needed kitchen break to catch up on our Jam supply, farm work, house work, office work, Doctor and Dentist appointments.
