Did you know today, June 21st is the longest day of the year! Happy Father’s Day, enjoy this day and the precious memories they’ve made in our lives.
News From Our Growers:
Welcome Canna Pham Farm: they are a licensed family owned and operated hemp farm right outside of Murfreesboro. We grow, cultivate, harvest, and create all of our own CBD infused products. We offer smokable hemp flower, CBD infused lotions, CBD infused muscle rubs, and consumable CBD oil.
Our crop is tested by the state as well as additional third party testing.
Trinity Rose Oberhasli Dairy Goats: Will not be on the Market this week but will return next week with lots of milk, kefir and cheese.
RnR Farms: We have a bunch of lettuce and we will all Summer, Fall, and Winter! All naturally grown, in the ground, with zero pesticides used. We also have more zucchini, and possibly some chard and kale. And tomatoes and cucumbers are just around the corner!
Carole’s Herbs (CS3 Farm):This week we are spotlighting our cardamom honey, green leaf lettuce, and microgreens.
Cardamom can be used to treat indigestion, gas and constipation. It also lowers high blood pressure while increasing blood circulation – boosting energy and lowering anxiety. Honey contains antioxidants and has antibacterial and anti-fungal properties.
Our soil and sun grown lettuce has Vitamin A, Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, and a host of minerals (including Magnesium, Manganese, Folate, and Potassium), as well as antioxidants, and it is delicious!
Microgreens have much higher nutrient levels than the full grown veggies, and work well added to smoothies, salads, or baked dishes. Microgreens are a little larger and older than sprouts but not quite as large as the regular vegetable, and they taste great! We have Turnip-Mustard, Speckled Pea, and Sunflower microgreens.
Mama D’s Bakery: Hi everyone! We wanted to say thank you to all of y’all that have been buying our products and continuing to support local businesses! We appreciate it so much!
This week we have added New York style bagels and Cream Cheese Danishes. We hope y’all enjoy them.
Flying S Farms: Jade Green Beans, Yellow Straightneck Squash and Zucchini, Pickling (called Pickling because they are a smaller cucumber great for pickling but also do well in salads) and Slicing Cucumbers (great in salads or dip in your favorite dressing), have been added this week, Red Russian Kale is still coming in and available, great raw in salads, enjoy sauted with other vegetables or by itself.
Look forward seeing you “At the Curb" of Quinn’s Mercantile Wednesday June 24th from 5:00 – 6:30pm, please contact me if you are unable to make delivery or are running late, please phone, email or text me so we can make arrangements to get your order to you. If we don’t hear from you, your order will be donated and you will be invoiced for the amount since we still need to pay our Growers for their products. Remember we can deliver it to you if necessary.
