Welcome to the November 29th and 30th Stones River Locally Grown Online Farmers Market. The Market opens 8:00 am on Sunday Morning and closes 10:00 pm Monday evening. Order early before quantities available run out! https://stonesriver.locallygrown.net

We look forward seeing you on the Porch or Curb Wednesday December 2nd from 5-6:30pm with deliveries following. Please comment to Manager when you checkout that you would like curb service and approximate time of arrival so we can have your order ready and watch for you. https://stonesriver.locallygrown.net

Be sure to check again over the next 2 days as some of our Growers may be updating their inventories.

Reminder…Delivery Service is available within a 10 mile radius of Murfreesboro, outside areas will be considered and delivery is available to Woodbury at a host location. Please put your address in comments before you check out….Method of Payment is Cash, Checks, Cards or Invoice. For Delivering and Invoicing please make sure your account information is current.

With the Holidays approaching The Market’s Gift Certificates are a great way to share the Market with others. Give a Gift of Locally Grown food and other items. A Complementary Tote will come with the purchase of the Gift Certificate.

The Market has Reusable Market Totes available, 10 × 12 with a 8 inch gusset, not too small and not too big and reusable. This is a joint venture between Quinn’s Mercantile and our Stones River Market.

News from the Market:

There are 4 weeks before the Christmas and New Years holiday. Be sure to stock up over the next 4 weeks with your favorite things. The 2020 last Market will be December 20th and 21st for those last minute shoppers, Pickup and Delivery on TUESDAY December 22nd. The Market will be taking a brief break and will be CLOSED December 23rd thru January 2nd. The 2021 will begin our New Market Year opening January 3rd and 4th for ordering and Pick up and Delivery Wednesday 6th 2021!

We are continuing our SPECIAL THANK YOU, when you order over $50.00 you will receive a FREE Reusable Market Tote, and orders over $100 will receive ‘2’ Reusable Market Totes.

Special request… if you have any jars and reusable lids from the Growers on the Market please return them to the Market. It has been difficult locating jars and when they do the prices are outrageous!

WELCOME A NEW GROWER TO THE MARKET:
Simons Co. Elderberry Syrup: Find in Herbal Healing Category under Immune Boosting Elderbery Syrup. Our Syrup is made locally by two natural minded mamas. We have been using this recipe and giving this to our families for years. We are so excited to be able to share the love of homemade elderberry syrup with you and help keep you healthy during these winter months. Mama D’s Bakery:
Hi everyone!! With Thanksgiving over, we now have pre-Christmas events and Christmas itself to get ready for. To help with the food side of things during this busy season we have everything available this week. And in the coming weeks we will be adding new holiday choices. This week we have pumpkin spice bagels, banana breads and pumpkin breads(with the option of nuts or not) Carmel apple cinnamon rolls, gingerbread cake roll, pumpkin cake roll, spicy ginger cookies, pumpkin streusel jumbo muffins, bagels, donuts, cheese Danishes, pies(chocolate fudge, pecan, chocolate chip pecan, pumpkin and sweet potato), cookies, granola and protein bars, cinnamon rolls, breads, and fruit scones. Thanks so much to everybody for your business!

Overview Farm:
This week Oakview Farm has three varieties of delicious Green Tomato Marmalade made with our no-spray green cherry tomatoes! The varieties we offer are: Rosemary, Ginger/Orange, and Thyme. We put the marmalade on pancakes, sandwiches and of course toast! We also will hopefully be offering lots of greens next week (mustards, kale, arugula and lettuce) if they survive the cold weather so be on the lookout!

Quarter Spring Farm:
Tired of turkey yet? Great news – we have lots of farm fresh chickens and chicken cuts ready to fill your bellies. Don’t forget to wipe your filthy paws with our trendy reusable napkins!

Sow’s Ear Piggery:
This week Sow’s Ear Piggery adds a new pork product . Belly Rib Roast is an unusual cut from our butcher, who recommends using a slow cooker for a hearty meal on a chilly day. The neat square cut includes the rib layer and lean side meat with a layer of belly fat to keep moist as it cooks.
We also still have pork chops, bratwurst, ground pork, cutlets, and breakfast sausage available. Our pork is from free-range, heritage breed pigs raised on non-GMO diet.

Carole Herbs (CS3 Farm): We have some delicious Romaine Lettuce, Pickled Black Walnuts, Italian Parsley and Siberian Kale this week.

Sassy Cassies:
Are you getting tired of left overs and preparing food? Let us help take the stress off and have a little rest. Several options to choose from, easy to prepare, thaw and bake…how simple is that!

Fungalicious:
As the holiday approaches we find ourselves wondering who would like to have gourmet mushrooms to pare with their dishes. The uses are numerous and don’t forget our Powders they will enhance any dish and increase the mushroom flavor, we have added a couple new Powders.

Farrar Farm:
Hope everyone has enjoyed their Thanksgiving Holiday, we are taking a brief break for a week or two.

Rainbow Hill Farm:
It’s been a great year, thank you everyone who have been enjoying the fruits of our labor this year, stay safe and we will be back Spring 2021!

Flying S Farms:
This week produce availabe include; Rainbow Swiss Chard, Salad Onions, Sweet Potatoes, Purple and White Cauliflower. Also Radishes (try them roasted-delicious) Turnips, Daikon’s, Kale, Turnips Greens, Mustard Greens, Winter Squash: Blue Hubbard and Kuri Hubbard, both delicious as a side dish or pies!, along with Acorn, Butternut and Carnival. Processed items: Assorted Friendship Breads, Pumpkin and Orange Cranberry Breads, Brownies and Lemon bars, Pumpkins Cookies are back on the market. Artisan Breads and Biscuits (Sour Cream or Buttermilk). As well as our Sour Dough Breads in loaves and rolls. We have been updating several of our Jams.. Christmas Jam (Cranberry + Strawberry) and Cowboy Candy (Candied Jalapenos), Dark Cherry Jam and Seriously HOT Strawberry, we keep Jammin’ so be sure to check back.
