Market is OPEN -- See you Wednesday

Welcome to this weeks Stones River Locally Grown Online Farmers Market. The Market is open from 8:00 am on Sunday Morning and closes 10:00 pm Monday evening. Order early before quantities available run out! www.stonesriver.locallygrown.net

Certainly hope everyone is doing well through this allergy and ‘Flu’ season. Several great things on the market this week. Meats (Pork, Beef, Poultry) Breads, Milk, Teas, Fermented Drinks and Probiotics to help build your immune system. Enjoy the market!

News from some of our Growers:

Sow’s Ear Piggery: New “small batch” pork offerings. Our 3 little pigs went to market and produced some very tender “small batch” cuts now available. Excellent ground pork. Minimal seasoning needed. We also have petite chops, for quick skillet dinners. Cutlets are another stove-top favorite. Shoulder steaks for a savory “low and slow” meal. As always, our pork comes from heritage breed pigs raised outdoors on a non-GMO, non-corn, non-soy diet. We have more products to add soon! But given the small batch, they won’t last long.

Wedge Oak Farm: Quantities of several of our products have been updated!

Carole’s Herbs (CS3 Farm): More of our delicious forage greens available this week (mostly miner’s lettuce, arugula and chickweed for now) great as a salad by itself or add it to your lettuce salad, also delicious added to a sandwich. Enjoy a glass or cup of our delicious Black Vanilla Tea! Also try some of our herbal and regular teas for a delicious alternative.

Dogwood Valley Greenhouse: Brighten your day or someone else’s day with a bouquet of our Spring Daffodils some with some special colored ones. Also Flowering almond shrub is in bloom and Euphorbia or spurge, the very unusual green-flowered ‘St. Patrick’s Day’ plant, as I like to call it, is just coming into bloom.

Flying S Farms: Eggs and Bread plentiful this week.

Caney Fork Farms: Our Winter Season schedule with the Market is monthly, next times will be March 25th, returning weekly in April 2020.
