Market is OPEN -- See you Wednesday

Welcome to this weeks Market, Open until 10 pm Monday. Order early before quantities available run out!

There are 2 Markets left before the Labor Day weekend, time to get stocked up for the last Holiday of Summer!

Excited to announce a new Grower to the Market, please welcome Quarter Spring Farm from Liberty. They will be offering quartered chicken cuts, raw chicken feet and necks (great for stocks or a natural dog treats!) and goat’s milk soap, unscented and scented this week.

Enjoy the Market this week, many great things to choose from all our Growers.

News From Our Growers:

RnR Farm: back this week with delicious lettuce choices.

Oakview Farm: Fresh whole chicken for sale- the price is reduced from last week so get them while you can! We also have pie pumpkins (great for roasting, grilling or soups), green beans, winter squash and lemon balm available. We don’t use pesticides/chemicals in our garden and our chickens are given a fresh patch of grass everyday with no hormones or antibiotics!

The Sugared Spoon: This week I’ve got Chocolate Cherry Brownies! Cherries folded right into the batter and finished with a white chocolate drizzle. Also, if anyone wants an assorted dozen cookies, just order it as a dozen of chocolate chip and leave me a message to make it assorted. Assorted dozens will come with Choc chip, peanut butter, Snickerdoodle, oatmeal raisin and butterscotch-toffee.

Rainbow Hill Farm: New Apple this week is Ozark Gold, has Golden Delicious in its breeding and is flavorful and more tart, also have the Gala Apples available this week along with Summer Squash, Zucchini, Sweet Peppers and Tomatoes.

Carole’s Herbs (CS3 Farms): We have two healthy peanut butter alternatives – Sunflower Seed Butter and Pumpkin Seed Butter. Check out our Cardamon Honey and lightly heated Habanero Honey offerings.

Short Mountain Cultures: Highlight this week is GINGER BEET KVASS I never would have thought so many folks in Woodbury would love this Ukrainian sour beverage so much! Beet kvass is definitely what’s up when it’s so dang hot. The electrolytes from the salt are a life saver, not to mention the vitamins and minerals from the beets. And to top it all off the wild yeast fermentation created a slightly sour profile that makes my mouth water.

Flying S Farms: Yukon Gold Potato are available this week in half pound or pound options.

From our Meat Producers: Farrar Farms, Sow’s Ear Piggery, Caney Fork Farms, Crossing Creeks Farm, Oakview Farm and Quarter Spring Farm all have some great selections of meats to make your meals great. From Beef, Pork, Lamb and Chicken. Grill, roast, broil, boil…delicious anyway you prepare them.
