News From Our Growers:
Trinity Rose Oberhasli Dairy Goats: Due to my work schedule this week, we will not be able to bring our products to market this week. See you next week.
Oakview Farm: Will have Whole Chickens available this week! Our Chickens have access to a new patch of grass everyday and we supplement their diet with squash and other veggies from our garden, along with layer crumbles. We do not use chemicals on our garden. The proceeds from everything we sell will go towards starting our summer camp for children with hearing loss, Oakview Farm Camp.
Mo’s Scrubs by Toya: Back from a brief break, plenty of helpful and useful things available for your face and body. Don’t forget the Bug-a-Boo Mosquito repellent, DEET FREE and safe for the whole family.
Carole’s Herbs (CS3 Farms): We have a ‘just not enough’ habanero honey designed to deliver just enough heat to wake up your mouth up so it’s ready for the incredibly nutritious sweetness of the 100% Tennessee Honey that follows. We have been told it makes vanilla ice cream taste amazing.
Flying S Farms: We’ve added Star of David Okra this week. It is a thicker walled okra that can be roasted or grilled and does not have as much ‘slim’ as other varieties do. It is wonderful fried, makes nice size medallion. Pair it with onions and tomatoes for a really Southern treat!
Have you ever had a Blue potato? Our Blue Majesty Potato are now available. They are great roasted or fried, can be boiled but will loss their color but still delicious gray taters.
The Sugared Spoon: Key Lime Chess Bars, Lemon Chess Bars, Peanut Butter, S’mores Cookies, Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, Chocolate Chip Cookies and Snickerdoodle Cookies. Perfect for snacks, dessert or gatherings.
Reminder!!! This is the last market to be entered in our Market Celebration Drawing. This is a Drawing for my 1st year as Manager and the upcoming Markets 11th Birthday!!! During June and July your name will be put ‘in the hat’ when you place your order. There will be a 1-$25, 1-$10 and 2-$5 Gift Certificate drawing August 7th, be sure to place an order each week to increase your chances for our Gift Certificates.
