News From Our Growers:

Stones River Market: Can’t decide what to get a friend, family, teacher for Christmas and/or the New Year…think GIFT CERTIFICATES to the Market! Let’s them select what they want from our list of Growers.

Welcome our NEW GROWER/Artisan…JillianFaithArt: Her beautiful original art work will surely please you. Several different print sizes available just in time for the Holiday gift giving. She will set up occasionally during delivery time so you can see some of her work and also have a chance to meet and talk with her.

Mo’Scrubs by Toya: Just because your feet aren’t exposed during the cold weather months doesn’t mean you can neglect foot care! Keep you feet soft and smooth year round! Exfoliate with ‘Head over Heals’ the peppermint foot scrub that will leave your feet with a cool sensation.

Then, nourish and hydrate with ‘Frosty’, the foot butter blended with Raw Shea, Peppermint Oil, Tea Tree Oil, Eucalyptus Oil and Vitamin E.

For cases of extreme dry, cracked heels, add in the healing balm, ‘Smooth Operator’.

Quarter Spring Farm: We are super excited to have several sizes of our pasture raised chickens listed during the holiday season, including our jumbo birds! We have updated our available scents of goat milk soaps and added both of our all natural healing balms as well! Happy Holidays!

Oakview Farm: Will have our free range chicken eggs on sale over the next few weeks, as well as a few different varieties of homemade apple butter! We may have some duck eggs as well if the ducks continue to lay as they have. Happy Holidays!

Sow’s Ear Piggery: Cutlets, chops, shoulder roasts, and sausages are available again this week. As always, out pork is natural, non-GMO, and raised outdoors. * Please note: Our current products come from an especially lean breed, so we recommend marinades and cooking methods with oils and broths that will bring moisture to these cuts.

Farrar Farm LLC: We are having a RIB SALE this week. Short Ribs and Korean style ribs for $5.00 a pound! 2 pound minimum. Use the quantity selection to select the approximate number of pounds you want and the price will be adjusted at checkout.

Carole’s Herbs (CS3 Farms): Stock up on our Elderberry Syrup to boost your immune system during the holidays. Also check out our Shrub Concentrates for a delicious sweet/sour drink or salad/dessert enhancement. Any multiple shrub orders (any flavor) will be discounted 10% before the Christmas – New Year’s break. You’ll likely need Thyme Red Wine Mustard before long – get two!

Crossing Creeks Farm: Available this week….100% Grass-fed Ground Beef, Pasture Raised Chicken and Delicious Bone Broth.

Dogwood Valley Greenhouse: Doing much better after my fall last week! Back this week with a good selection of wrapped Christmas cacti and African violets for gift-giving, or just to add some color to your own holiday decorations. I’m trying to keep the availability updated to reflect the plants currently in bloom. But if you don’t see what you’re looking for, just ask.

Here’s a teaser: just think – it’s only about two months till daffodil time! I may have some surprises for you this year (no promises). But first, we’ll have to survive whatever wintry goodness Mother Nature throws our way. The woolly bear caterpillars say it’s going to be a hard one!

Spring Meadow Farm: Eggs are available this week. There is always room for PIES! We have Bacon Cheese Quiche along with several pies that will compliment your Holiday and any meal: Chess, Chocolate, Coconut Cream, Lemon Meringue, Pecan and Pumpkin.

Plenty of our Jams and Jelly in stock for the Holiday Season.
