Market News

Welcome back after a one week break in the Market. While we were gone many new products were added and more produce has started appearing. Some items of interest this week include:

Alfresco Pasta has added new pasta and sauces to his listings. Flying S Farms has added a new type of biscuit and jam this week. Frontier Family Farm added broccoli florets. Wedge Oak Farm has listed Mangalitsa rendered lard.

The following are messages from our vendors:

From Tracey with Botanical Harmony -

Happy Spring Everyone!

Botanical Harmony Farm will have part of a new, natural baby care line on the market this week. Cloth diaper safe rash cream with organic coconut oil, organic shea butter, organic coconut oil, arrowroot powder, beeswax, Calendula, Plantain, Chickweed and Pure Essential Oils and local, raw honey . This formula is non-greasy and is a wonderfully moisturizing, protective and healing for sensitive baby skin. Comes in two convenient sizes.

Baby Breathe (suggested for use with babies 3 months and older) – same incredible formula as our regular Breathe but with less concentration of essential oils due to the delicate nature of baby skin. 1 oz pot.

We are adding more to this line in the next week along with gift sets for baby and one just for the new mom.

As always, we thank you for supporting our family farm business. We are doing what we love with our loved ones because of you ! <3

Tracey, Ashleigh, Callum, Katherine, Wil, Benjamin, Andrew and all the farm animals.

From Linda with Dogwood Valley Greenhouse -

Spring has come on with such a rush that this will be the last week for daffodil bouquets from Dogwood Valley Greenhouse. We also have several beautiful succulent planters which will be a great table or desk decoration or Easter gift. They can also be moved outside for the frost-free time, from early May until October. What wonderful, cheerful gifts for a friend, or for yourself!

There are plenty of other products available this week. Browse the categories to see what your will find.

Thanks so much for your support of Stones River Market, all of our growers, local food, and our rights to eat it. We’ll see you on Wednesday at Southern Stained Glass at 310 West Main Street from 5:00 to 6: 30 pm!
