Anemones' timeless grace enhances any garden. This species of anemones can be some of the earliest perennials to cover woodland floors with delicate, nodding blooms. Perennial anemones are easy to grow, and once established, they can create large colonies of plants for grand displays. Anemones spread by underground rhizomes that multiply readily. For best results, plant anemones in well-drained soils rich in organic matter. The extra organic matter keeps a consistent moisture in soil. Many spring-blooming anemones are ephemeral, meaning the foliage will die back in summer and plants will go dormant. This can happen quickly if the soil is allowed to dry too much or too often. Planting anemones in part sun protects foliage from drying out too much. You can divide anemones in spring as plants emerge.

We have a small backyard flock and urban homestead. Our flock free-ranges daily and is fed whole grains along with fermented feed with fresh fruits and vegetables. Ours still have the bloom on to prolong freshness. They are counterstable for up to 2 weeks or refrigerator stable for several months. Classic lasagna with ground beef. 3 layers of robust roasted garlic red sauce, and smothered with mozzarella, parmesan, and ricotta cheeses. Infused with Italian herbs such as basil, rosemary, oregano, and parsley. This will easily feed a family of 4. Depends how you cut it but you can get 9-12 severing out of this. The pan I use for these are 9in by 11in. The final weight is between 7lbs and 7 1/2 lbs *These will need to be cooked to finish on your end* Times may vary from oven to oven but this is how I do it. Have Lasagna sit at room temperature for an hour. Preheat Oven to 375 degrees. Cover the lasanga pan with aluminum foil. Bake for 30mins. After the 30mins, remove aluminum foil and bake for another 30mins. Finally if the top is not golden brown and delicious, use the broil option on your oven and keep a close eye on it until its finished.
